About

Jennifer Papanikolaou

Jennifer's background in dance led her to the Pilates Method of Body Conditioning.  She attended Adelphi University in New York on a dance scholarship and graduated with a BFA in Dance.  While dancing professionally in New York City, she began taking Pilates classes to further enhance her dance technique and prevent injuries.

Jennifer trained with Romana Kryzanowska, a world-renowned protege of Joseph Pilates, at the Pilates Studio of New York.  She completed her certification in 1997 and taught private and group classes in NYC until moving to Los Angeles in 1999, where she continued to teach Pilates.  She's had the privilege of training with many master Pilates instructors both in New York and Los Angeles.

Jennifer then joined with a physical therapist in the LA area and assisted in creating a Pilates program for the clinic.  She worked with clients who had various physical challenges and was thrilled to see the difference that the Pilates method made in their therapy.  Jennifer is also an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with an Orthopedic Exercise Specialty certification.

Jennifer moved back to the Cleveland area as a mom of twins and has continued to teach Pilates as well as Barre classes on the west side. She has 25 years of experience teaching Pilates and enjoys working with clients of all levels.
